SUMMER BALL 2015
As has come to be expected, much merriment was had on the 20th June, when glamorous ladies and dapper gents graced the decks of the Artists Rifles Clubhouse for the much anticipated annual ARC Summer Ball.
A buffet feast featuring a delicious poached salmon, coronation chicken, glazed gammon, roast beef and a variety of salads was followed by a heaving platter of cheese, summer fruit pavlova and ginger beer jelly. The meal was complimented by music from jazz band The Lallemant Trio.
The dining hall was then transformed in to a disco, where a dj span tracks late in to the night.
The torrential rain and thunderstorm did not put a dampener on the evening, and all in all the ball was a great success. We are thoroughly looking forward to next year’s ball already!
